Virtual Hospital Ward Pilot Project

Wishes can come true.

89-year-old Winnipeg resident Terry Miller is able to stay at home longer and have less visits to the hospital thanks to a year-long pilot project, which is a type of virtual hospital ward.  She lives with her husband Dan and requires 24-hour care and support due to mini-strokes and Alzheimer's Disease.  Terry Miller is one of ten chronically ill people who have benefited from this virtual hospital project.
